Hello, everybody.

I am thinking about grabbing an OCZ ZS 550W (tier 2 class A on the tier list) for the system below.

ASUS H97 Plus
i5 4690
MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Corsair Force Series GS 128GB 2.5"

I have heard for a similar system that it should be enough but it never hurts to double check before I spend all the money but end up with too little power.

Thanks in advance for answers.

It should be enough. It's about 450 W, a bit tight, but I think you should get a bit more for OC if you need.

I would recommend get a corsair V650S. It is a really solid PSU with a Tier One rating (The best of the best), You cant get the OCZ ZS 550w anymore as they arent being made but I presume you have it in your build already. The OCZ would work but for the 970 I would rather a 600w+

I am not planning to OC, hence why I chose a h97 mobo and i5 4690 but not 4690k :)

I can still get one, because I have found a retailer that still have ocz zs 550, 650 and 750 in stock. 650W unit is about 20% more expensive so I wouldn't buy that one if I don't really need. Also, I couldn't find any retailers online for where I live that sells corsair V series.

Well, my point is that if you plan on OCing anything, I think you may need 100W more. But since not, this may be fine.
