Hi, I'm having issues with SR3 (Steam copy) as stated above. And I was wondering if there is a fix for this. Inside on lowest settings I get around 40fps. And then I go outside and it drops to 25-35. And once driving and in heated moments it drops to around 19fps. I love this game but is there a fix for this.
If I take it any higher graphically it drops to a solid 20fps and freezes from time to time. My GPU excels the requirements, and my CPU meets them and the same for ram etc. Surely I should be able to run this medium and around 30fps?
I run windows 8 Pro. If I get a new board and an fx 6300 or similar will this get better? (Also for a new board and CPU I have around about £150 any recommendation?). I now the CPU is old and so is the GPU but it does me fine (Mostly). And I will get more RAM soon.
I use nvidia drivers : 344.11

Corsair CX 500W Intel Core i3 540 3.06GHz
Gigabyte H55M-UD2H Intel H55 (Socket 1156) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard
Xigmatek Dark Knight CPU Cooler Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9
1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
Gainward GTX 560 ti 1024MB GDDR5
Realtek 7.1 Channel Sound (On-Board)
LG DVD+/-RW SATA Drive
Also looking at a new CPU and boards. To stay intel isn't the G3258 okay once overclocked and what board would allow me to overclock well. I only say this because I may be able to get an I5 further down the line.
