So i just got Packard Bell iMedia X2326 from a friend (he just gave it to me for no reason and said it works) so i booted it up and i saw that it has a AMD Phenom X3 8450 and i was thinging of upgrading the CPU so i could give this computer to my little brother so he could be play minecraft on it and i have to idea what is the best CPU that doesen't need a bios update. Im willing to pay the price of the new cpu and my friend said he had upgraded the ram to the max and he got a new GPU for it. So what would be the best CPU for it and pleasew tell me the the absolutely best CPU for it.
EDIT: The friend that gave me this computer had also upgraded the PSU to a Corsair CX600.

I don't know the chipset (because its a pre build machine) but i know that the socket is AM2+ (that doesen't really help because Phenom ii X6 processors work on AM2+ but with only certain mobos). The GPU is a ATI Radeon HD 5830 and also the PC is from 2008.
