I have been asking the community regarding my build for the past week now and I am grateful because everyone here is friendly. :)  But now another crisis has yet to come to me..

Originally I was planning on building this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Monitor: Asus VE247H 23.6" Monitor ($139.99 @ NCIX US)

Many people already did check this and approved. Although now I read through some reviews and many website and forums about the EVGA 970's having coil whines. Since I am no PC guru I have no idea how this will really affect me just yet until I get it but I do wonder if I should switch out cards instead? I read MSI is a good card to get and also Gigabyte but GB seems to have some issue with the case I have. So please help me guys and thank you. Additional question too: If I do plan on Overclocking and did change my 4690 to a K version instead will the cooler be fine or should I switch to liquid cooling although I read it's also complicated to put it together. My first time building a gaming PC and will be assembling this myself, I'm quite nervous. There's that anti-static wrist thing... Do I really need that?

Personally I'd get the Gigabyte or MSI variant until Evga steps up.
And you don't need to have a water cooler. Watercooling is easy or hard depending on which style you do it: Custom or pre-built closed loop. No you don't need an anti static guard, unless you are prone to static in your house a lot. Just in cause though, before you touch anything related to wiring, discharge yourself by pressing your Palm to the wall. The paint should absorb the ions.

If you need anything to be explained deeper ask.

I'm not sure about a coil whine, but just like jay said, get the gigabyte windoforce cards, they just upgraded them for 970 and are even better than before.

If you do get the K sku i5 then the cpu cooler will still be fine.

And no, you don't need a anti static wrist thing, I've built over 15 computers in my life and never used it. Just make sure you touch something metal before getting to work and every now and then touch it to make sure static electric is not on you.

Hmmm so can you like review my parts list for a case that will have no issue with the GB card? cause PCPartsPicker says it has compatibility issue. I just picked a cheap one with high ratings. I wasn't sure what I was doing exactly. I'm open with other opinions if you still have more to add to it or change some. Except maybe an SSD I don't plan on getting one atm.
