So I have a ga-z97x-sli mobo trying to run 2 Kingston hyper x fury 8GB sticks. After first build, computer would be stuck in boot loop. After some testing, computer only boots if a stick is in slot 2 or 4. Both sticks work in either of those slots. Dual channel on this board is (1 and 2) or (3and 4). So with my current problem, can't do dual channel. Is there something in missing to enable dual channel? Is there anything yall can suggest that might fix it? Do I just have to rma the board?

If it matters my cpu is I5 4690k and I'm 90% sure I didn't bend any pins when installing.

Solution
Dual channel should be slots 1-3 or 2 and 4 from CPU, so 2-4 should be fine (though they should work in 1-3 also - ensure the sticks are firmly seated and no debris in the slots
