Hi I'm having problems with my new graphics card I just got yesterday. So the problem is that everything that I plugged in their was correctly placed as the installation said but as I started up my machine it goes to the usual motherboard screen. But it stays there for while (20-30 seconds) then goes to a dark screen with a blinking underscore at the top left for a nonstop period of time (I left for 30 min. and came back to it still at the screen). The tech support guy at EVGA said it might be that I need to update my motherboard but that didn't seem to work. Should I just send it back to get a new card?

Newest Graphics Card : EVGA GTX 760 4GB
Motherboard: Gigabyte x79-ud3 rev 1.0
OS: windows 7 64
Processor : Intel i7-3820

I had that issue with a new 970 that I bought, I'm almost positive that it's the GPU and not any of your old components. If you still have your old card you should try putting it back in. Let me know how that goes.

Yeah I put it in and the old GPU worked fine. So it must be a bad GPU then?

Yea most likely. Also considering that Maxwell just dropped, you should just return that card and get a 970. Performance is much higher.
