Hi - using an Epson Stylus NX515. Worked great until recently, I installed new ink cartridges and the print comes out faint and with lines through it (parallel to the line of print). No, I am not using genuine Epson ink, can't afford $50.

I have tried nozzle check and head cleaning, several times, and tried changing out the black ink. Levels show there is plenty of ink.

Also, the latest ink I got off Ebay, when it says to remove the tape from the cartridge before installing, I did that on two and both times liquid ink came out and stained my fingers. The tape was on the surface that is facing up when the ink is installed. I have never had that happen before. I have bought ink on EBay before and it was fine, came from the UK. This one came from the US but the seller is Chinese. I have asked for a refund.

ETA - the "computer chip" area on the new inks looks different from my 2 previous ink purchases. The copper contacts are a different shape.
