Hey. I need a new cpu cooler, and I Can get D-14 tomorrow, or I could ask the company to order a D-15 for me, But then i would have to wait for a couple of days. I also want nzxt rgb controller and could have them get that aswell. What should I do? Is D-14 still worth it? Thanks

For many years, the "Big 3" were, in order of performance, Phanteks PH-TC14-PE, Thermalright Silver Arrow and Noctua DH-14. The Phanteks thermal edge is a degree or less but it is also cheaper and the other two have some fugly color schemes. The heatsinks probably perform very close to equally but Phanteks has the betetr fans. The Phanteks can be color matched to your case or components in white, black, red, blue and orange. Most are $65

The DH-14 is a fine cooler also bit it is $14 more however currently has a $9 discount
USD $9 off w/ promo code EMCPAHD68, ends 10/2

The Silver arrow is tough to find.

Two new coolers top those and those are the Cryorig Ultimate R1 and the DH-15. I haven't seen a head to head yet but I'm thinking the R1 will be the winner. It's here for $90

I agree about the unorthodox colour scheme, though I will recolour it black. I think it will look sweet. I had a look at the R1 ultimate, and it looks stunning. I dont like the metal colouring on the regular ones tbh
