How do I connect my desktop to the Internet through wifi it's a pentium 4

I have a desktop hooked up and would like to hook up another desktop in my basement through the existing wifi or some other simple way. Anyone have any suggestions? How bout a usb ?

You'll have to buy a wireless adapter. You can buy something like this:
