The Asus z97 maximus vii formula comes with its own mofset waterblock. Is the water good in a sense that it doesn't leak from the gasket. Damn it I am worried something tells me that I should have went for the Maximus vii and got a maximus vi waterblock as they fit

Not sure I'm following...are you asking about the ASUS-installed block? Or that you got a different block and worried that it won't be compatible?

I am worried about the block that the Asus Maximus VII formula comes with to cool the mosfet. What I am worried about is the water block. I didn't see any reviews tbh and I am afraid it might leak.

If you bought the board with the block and it leaks, it should be covered by ASUS warranty. I would check into this, but you'd think it would be the case.

Thanks Rubix once again, I will check if it is tight visually when it arrives.

No problem, but I would definitely check into warranty coverage in the event there is an issue. Given that they somewhat 'expect' you to run liquid cooling on the board, you'd think it would be A) designed well enough to cool well and, B) not have issues with leaks or manufacturing defects. Curious if ASUS actually produced the block or if it was sourced elsewhere. And regardless of each...what is it MADE OF? Hopefully not brightly colored, anodized aluminium.
