What's a good Z77 motherboard?

I have a p68 asus deluxe motherboard now with the Intel Core i7 2600k cpu. I'm looking to get a z77 chipset based motherboard to tie me over until skylake comes out. They are kind of hard to come by. Right now I think I might be stuck with an Asrock z77 extreme 6. Any thoughts on that board? I normally use Asus but they don't have a motherboard I like available.

The problem with my current motherboard is that one of the 6g sata ports has fried and I only have 1 g6 sata port. The rest are 3g ports. I have 1 SSD and I want to get a second one to replace my other aging hard drive. I might even opt for a hybrid drive that I can mount in the back of the motherboard plate. I have the NZXT case that I can do that.

I'm just looking for something to tie me over for a couple more years. Everything else works great and I don't see any reason to do a complete upgrade.

My plan is to overclock the 2600k with a water cooling solution and maybe upgrade to the geforce 980 GPU. I figure this should tie me over a couple more years. I just need a new motherboard to replace this one because of the bad sata port. Who knows what else is going bad...

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

You should have 4xSATA6 ports on your current mobo. But you can always use the SATA3 ports for your HDD's if necessary. The HDD's won't take a performance hit using SATA3.
If you insist on a new mobo, I have an Asrock Z67Pro3Gen3 and an Asrock Z87 Extreme6, both have been running without problems for quite some time.

So whenever I plug something into the fried sata port my computer turns off as soon as I turn it on. I'm just worried it'll spread heh. It hasn't yet but I haven't used it as much as I use to because of it.

I was thinking on the extreme 6 it's only 20 dollars different and I get a pci express 4x slot instead of a 1x slot. I have a dual port server NIC I plan to use so that one is perfect.

i eventually opted to just upgrade to a new processor and motherboard. The asrock z77 extreme 6 wasn't available anymore on newegg. I ended up getting the 4790k and a GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD5H LGA 1150 motherboard. I also got a CORSAIR Hydro Series H110 Extreme Performance Water/Liquid cooler.

Z77 motherboards are really hard to find so if you need a new motherboard to fit your 1155 cpu good luck. You might as well just upgrade.
