Hi there I have problem with an external drive. I had copied 115GB to a 500GB hard drive via atapi/sata to USB bridge everything successful it was when i had tried to access the drive and the PC auto shutdown corrupting the drive. i had been able to get it to mount again attaching it to my mac and then back to the pc. I can now view the files but I cannot copy them. errors such as cannot read from source. how can I recover these files. (recuva found deeper files I don't care for at the moment, and copying partition to another drive didn't work either).

If the data is corrupt there is little point in trying to retrieve it. You should have made backup copies on another drive before the it had chance to become corrupt.
