So I was done with the setup. I turned it on. Fans worked, LED turned on, everything good.
Turned it off, connected the monitor. It loaded fine. It said something about a boot device on the screen. After I made sure that it is all working fine, I proceeded with connecting an external CD drive(USB), a keyboard (usb) and a mouse (usb) to install the operating system. I connected one on the back pannel and the rest on the chasis's usb ports. turned the system off, connected all that. Tried turning it on, but it did not turn on.
What can possibly have caused it?
My suspicion is that there might have been something wrong with the Chasis USB3 connector, as on the MB, it wasn't clear which direction the connector had to face. For what it's worth, the motherboard is Asrock H81M-ITX. I plugging out the chasis USB3 connector altogether and tried it again. Doesn't turn on! I checked every single connection that might had gone loose. Still doesn't turn on.
Is it possible that I might have damaged the motherboard somehow? Will I have to replace the whole thing? or chould there be another reason for the problem?

Your boot order in the BIOS may give USB external CD drive top priority in the boot order. If not connected there is not a problem. You can set the boot order yourself.

I don't think it's a booting problem. It doesn't even turn on anymore! No fans turning, No led lit, nothing... :|

update: I just realized that what I believed to be a USB3 header was in fact a TPMS1 module. Now even when I unplug the chasis's USB connector altogether, the pc doesn't do anything when I press the power button.
Is it possible that I might have damaged the mobo by connecting the USB3 instead of the TPMS1 thing?
Or should I keep double check every single connection in case that is the problem?
