So I`m going to get a new phone some time this year but not sure witch one. I was looking at the plans for phones. Some of them had unlimited texting/phoning with some data. I was wondering if that texting/phoning is really unlimited after I pay the plan or am I actually paying bit by bit? I say this because my dad was saying how he has unlimited phoning but is needing to pay for the amount of minuets that he is using on the phone. Thanks for reading and tell me if this is true.

verizons prepaid $35 for basic phones and $45 smartphone planes u don't pay for any local or longdistance calls (only have to pay if you make international calls) otherwise yes theres is true unlimited talk and text. you only have to really pay if u use more data

if you get another version of there prepaid though you would have to pay per a minute.
which carrier and plan are you looking at?

I'm on an unlimited plan and it means just that - I pay a set amount per month and can send as many texts as I want. I'd recommend emailing the provider (so you have it in writing) and asking about their terms on the word 'unlimited'.
