Here is the build which I came up with: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Azznic/saved/RQ9wrH

I want you to criticize me and show me better options of which components i should get if possible.
Also, should I get a CPU cooler even tough I am not thinking about overclocking?

looks good to me, but maybe get a CPU cooler? it's not needed, but you will get better temperatures and a more silent pc.

If you aren't thinking in OC get the EVO212, it is cheap but very efficient.

If you dont plan to overclock get the non-k version of the I7 or maybe the Xeon E3 1231V3 (you can safe a 100 bucks there) and also with a h97 Motherboard.
Even if you dont overclock, you should get a cpu cooler. Less noise, better cooling/airflow.
If this rig is mainly for gaming, 8GB ram are enough. If editing/rendering stick with the 16GB.
750w psu is way too much. you should be fine with a 550-600w psu. Choose yourself which manufacturer.
Also I would wait for custom designs of the gtx980. reference design is nice to look at but you will get better temperatues with custom cooling (for example take a look at the msi twin frozer v cooling on the gtx 970)

I was about to ask which cooler should I get if im not overclocking, thanks. Lets say I overclock in the future which cooler should I get and if im not mistaken the k version of the cpu would let you OC right?

Since everybody recommends it, you should go with the Evo 212. and yes, the "k" version is for overclocking. but consider picking a "not so overpriced" mainboard. A msi z97 g43 or asrock z97 extreme4 will also do it.

The EVO is a great cooler, it will cool well even with a healthy OC up through 4.5-4.6, might also consider getting a decent size platter (conventional hard drive), will make a great rig, have fun ;)
