Hi, I recently just built a computer. The MB has a realtek alc1150 chip on it, but I noticed one thing that was different with it and the alc888 from my old comp: there's no eq. So I came to ask, is there a way to get an eq? I also updated the drivers, did it not load properly? I don't quite understand why a newer chipset wouldn't have at least some kind of eq.

Ask Realtek. I think they had some problems with the software. Not sure if its now fixed.

Get your motherboard updates for the Realtek 1150 then. Maybe you don't have the full suite on your mobo install CD.
I downloaded the drivers for it (6.0.1.7293) from the MSI website but all realtek has is some download (version R2.75).

I tried installing it but it did nothing, but now I realize I haven't a clue what it is anyways haha.
EDIT: Actually, is it because I'm running 3.5 mm analog instead of digital spdif? Maybe the eq is only supported for digital now.
