I wanted to know if the NVIDIA GTX 780 TI was compatible with my desktop. It is an HP Pavilion p6644y Special Edition but the power supply is a corsair 430 watt. Please help me before i buy it.

Nope, Your PSU is way below what it can handle. And as for your computer.. If im looking at this right, You have a pentium CPU, which will definitely bottleneck a 780 ti.

I would reconsider on buying a 780 ti, and possibility getting a whole different PC all together. with that lump some of money.

IF the above suggestion does not interest you, than I would buy a bigger PSU at least 600w(for headroom) and maybe a 760 instead of a 780 ti.

Do you think an intel i3 cpu would work?

It will "work" but with the settings you will want to play at with the 780 ti, it will still bottleneck the CPU.

Defiantly. Now your looking in the right direction. :p  you could even pull off a 760.
