I want to change from an Asrock Extreme 4 with i5 3570k to an ASUS Maximus Hero vii with i7 4790.
I also want to buy a Corsair Hydro H60 cooler.
When i change hardware do i just delete all data, put new hardware in and start again? I don't have any data that is extremely important. Also this is my first time buying a watercooler so is this a good cpu cooler.
Lastly, i was planning to eventually run 2 770's. is it worth it or would just buying a 780ti be better?
Forgot to mention that i am changing because im having issues with temp/sound and usb issues as well.

Solution
backup all your data then restore after, as I think you said.

Those AIO coolers don't exceed extreme air, so consider your choices. If you want a good cooler with little hassles and maitnance go for coolers like these -

Noctua NH-D14 (I have used this cooler before (triple fanned when used))

Noctua NH-D15 (I currently have and use this cooler (3 fans installed))

Cryorig R1 ultimate

Thermalright Silver arrow SB-E/Extreme

Deepcool gamer storm assassin

To accommidate these make sure you have a good 165mm+ headroom in your case

Dual GTX 970's is a far better choice, much better efficiency and much faster then dual 770's. The GTX 970 is only 10% slower then the 980, but almost costs half the 980's price.

Howdy!

When it comes to data deletion, unless you really need anything on the drive, just wipe it clean and start fresh. I would advise, however, having an external HDD to backup any non-OS or driver related data to, such as games as it is just less hassle to transfer them back after a wipe, rather than reinstall or re-download.

As far as coolers go, the H60 is an OK AIO, but not really designed for something like the i7. Personally I would do as the other guy suggested and get a decent air cooler like the Noctua, but if you really have got your heart set on a water cooler then the minimum should be something like the h100i.

Lastly, again as the other guy already said, don't bother with a 780ti, you would save a lot of money and power by getting two 970's. The partner version with the aftermarket coolers will easily OC to beyond the power of a 780ti and for a hell of a lot less money.
