Hello, I am buying a new PC next week so I needed to confirm my rig.
My budget is $2000 (INR 1,20,000)

I was thinking of thinking of this-
Processor: intel i7 4790k
Mobo: Asus z97 maximus vii hero(565$/inr 34600 for proccy and mobo)
Gfx Card: Zotac GTX 980 (735$/inr 45000)
Ram: Corsair 8Gb × 2 ram (180$/inr 11000)
750w PSU (150usd) pls suggest a good psu.
Nzxt source 530 (100$/inr 6000)
Dell 21" monitor (150$/inr 9000)

Any changes to be made? And I dont need an SSD so dont suggest it to me.
Ps. Dont be shocked by the prices I have put for the parts. I live in India. Everything is damn costly here

Thank you

What is the purpose of the build? Samsung EVO 120GB is 5k INR, you wouldn't benefit much from i7 over i5 in gaming, you've not specified if you want to OverClock on the build or not, and which particular memory stick are you getting (like Vengeance/ LP/ Pro/ Dominator/ etc). We can help in making the build cheaper and more efficient, if you tell the prices in INR. I'm from India too and can certainly help in making the build more value/money. I certainly can't imagine such a high end build w/o SSD today.

I will be using it for my animation work too. So for that I will be needing an i7. I wont be overclocking it now but I will oc it after a year or so. The ram will be vengeance. And I am saying no to ssd because from where I am buying the rig, that person wont recommend an ssd. And so my dad said no for an ssd.
anyways I can always get an ssd later once I have saved money for it.

Sorry for the late reply. Vengeance sadly has tall heatspreaders which often obstruct in cooler installation, an essential component for OCing. RipJaws X from G.Skill or Crucial memory are normal profile and I'd suggest it over Corsair.
There's no way in which a HDD is better than SSD except the bulk space it offers, you can make your dad read some comparisions about performance with OS on SSD or HDD, and you can see that boot times, accessing times, reading/ writing times all get speedy with it, highly recommended.

Okay...I will go with crucial or ripjaws. The shop guy says that ssd owners are having lots of problems. So i wont be able to convince my dad to buy an ssd. I will get it later with my own money. Apart from that, what about the other parts? Should I go with it?
