I've two PCs in my home, one's a desktop and the other's a laptop. The desktop is connected to broadband through router(LAN) and the laptop is connected by wifi. In the desktop I get more than 200 kbps download speed on a direct download(Using IDM). But I get less than 50 kbps speed in my laptop from the same link using the same browser and download manager.

Also, the connection always say limited in the laptop.

Note : This problem has been occurring for 2-3 days. In the past, it was as it should be.
I tried to update the driver in my laptop, resetted the router more than ten times. But the result's same.

What type of adapter are you using to connect to the router? (USB/PCI and make/model #)

I figured out my problem, it wasn't problem of my wifi or broadband. The server from where I was downloading the file was down, that's why the speed was very slow, but when I downloaded it from other servers. It's fine.

Thanks a lot for your helpful replies.
