hi, i just build my first computer, but when i power on my computer it doesn't beep. is there a problem with the computer? or do you think that the little speaker doesn't work?

Solution
Does your motherboard have a speaker in it? Some don't. It may also be worth looking in the BIOS to see if there's a setting to turn it on\off (My ASRock Z97 Extreme9 does). Again, not all have that option.

Everything is plugged in properly? You made sure no metallic components were in the wrong place?
You used standoffs (you may laugh, but people have legit not done that).

Otherwise, I'd make sure your PSU is switched to on, the system and monitor is plugged in (if you don't get an image in a system with a GFX, try starting by hooking the monitor into the HDMI from your processor/mobo graphics.

Worst case scenario, start with nothing except your PSU, CPU, Mobo, HDD, and a RAM stick. Start adding things and hopefully you'll either pop something somewhere in the process and that'll be the issue, or you'll get a full boot and all will be well with the world.

standoffs are the ones that goes between the mobo and the case chassis right? i installed them, well just one, my mobo required 7 and the case had 6 pre-installed.
