Hello,
I built a new rig with a new motherboard and using new power connectors and everything. However, for some reason, my computer would boot and run normally even though my 24 Pin To my 24 Pin extender was loose! Due to it being loose, the computer would instantly shut down whenever the GPU was under heavy load. I always thought it was an overheating problem.
This happened for about 3 weeks until I decided to open the case to reveal the loose 24 Pin extender.
Do you think any components got damaged? My PSU is a Corsair TX 650M so I'm pretty the instantaneous shutdown was a safety mechanism?
