So I'm slowly upgrading my whole setup and all and need a new 1080p screen. So here comes the questions:
1) How big the screen should be? Am like 60-70cm away from screen...
2) What should be the refresh rate? Like 120Hz I guess?
3) What wire I have to use if I want to take advantage of it and play with like 100-120fps? HDMI 1.4?
4) What the response time should be?

Sorry if any of these questions sound stupid, I don't want to make any stupid purchases.

Solution
1) Personal preference. I suggest 24 inch with 1920 x 1080 resolution of 27 inch with 2560 x 1440 resolution.
2) 60 Hz is standard. 120 Hz or 144 Hzscreens redunce image blur and input lag, but you need a faster graphics card to get more than 60 FPS.
3) Displayport is best, with full support for high resolutions and refresh rates as well as audio support. Dual-link DVI is also suitable for 2560x1440 @ 60 Hz or 1920 x 1080 @ 144 Hz. All versions of HDMI are limited to 60 Hz.
4) Response time 8 ms or less for a 60 Hz screen, 2 ms or less for a 60 Hz screen.

You will also see discussions about TN or IPS.
IPS have better colour but the screen has some glow in dark areas and these are limited to 60 Hz.
TN panels are faster, good quality...

TN panels are faster, good quality panels still have reasonable colour.

Your field of view at 60-70 cm would make 28" the biggest monitor you should get. Anything bigger wouldn't help because your vision is pretty crappy farther than 50 or 60 degrees from center
