Is r7 265 good for latest and upcoming games at 1680x1050

I will be using fx 6300 for this build and 8GB ram so I was wondering is r7 265 enough for 1680x1050 resolution.I won't be using AF or AA in any of the games so I was wondering can I play at high-ultra for the next year or 2?

OK high is good.I usually use custom settings anyway.Some high,some ultra,some medium.I am on a budget right now.Is r9 270 sapphire dual x much better than this card?

I tested and sold a rig exactly like this, except it was FX 6300 + R7 260x. The GPU and CPU needed to be OC'd or I had severe dips (GPU extra 100Mhz and CPU at least at 4.1 Ghz with no clock dropping). Once I OC'd I got smooth gameplay on high in bioshock and tomb raider (dips into 50's, up to 70/80/90's fps at certain points in benchmarks). I used the build in bioshock benchmarking utility, likewise with tombraider

Were you testing at 1080p on ultra preset?
