I am currently overclocking my Windforce OC gtx 780ti and I know how you are supposed to get as high as possible off the stock voltage while it still being stable but I don't know what area that would occur in.

I got to +90MHz on the core and any higher than that and it started to crash and bug a little bit so I was just wandering what other people could get off their stock voltage and whether this is particularly low or not.

I also noticed that once I started to overclock the memory the scores actually started to go down if anything, I dont know whether this is because iv only had time to overclock the memory to +40MHz but it seems a bit odd. I'v heard that if you overclock the memory too much it can actually hit performance but 40MHz seems very little. SHould I keep overclocking the memory and see if it gains any performance or just leave it a stock?

Also if you could let me know about any overclocks you have been able to get. The max you could get on stock voltage, the max you could get with a voltage offset and the scores and temperatures you got the that would be great, I just can't seem to find any overclocks that state how much more voltage they are adding.

EDIT: Does anyone know the safe voltage for this card?

There is not really a safe voltage per card. Nvidia has the Voltage Locked on all Kepler GPUs to roughly 1.2v though MSI lightning brand has their own voltage setting. The voltages on GTX 780 and GTX 780 ti are usually between 1.5 and 1.65 by default and 1.2v is fine and really all you need for Air cooling. Inreasing the core clock can be done Clock first then more voltage if you need it. Because if the GPU is not getting enough voltage it will just not hit the frequecny and the game usually keeps playing. The Memory is already 7Ghz and you can add to it but it should be fine .

So that means Im good to go as far as I can on the power limit and voltage limit as long as I dont let it get too hot right?

So I got an extra 90MHz without the extra voltage, is this average? Also should I just put the power limit right to the top and then just adjust the voltage or do I not need to alter the power limit, I dont really see what effect it has compared to the voltage slider.

Will boosting the memory actually help in any way as well or is it not worth the trouble?

Boosting the Memory would be more noticeable with a GTX 580 or even 780. 7ghz is the sweet spot impo. It does not really improve raw FPS but it does give you a bit more Memory Bandwidth for Lots of textures or high resolutions. I notice in the valley Benchmark There is slightly less popping when the GTX 780 Memory is cranked as high as I can out it which is not as high as the gtx 770 or 780 it. As for the Core clock , 90Mhz should be fine with the GTX 780 ti WF. I would go up a bit less after 100Mhz. Maybe 20MHz each time to be on the safe side.
