I purchased a Workforce 545 printer from Canada which use ink # 126 or 127
when I traveled to Middle east for long business trip I took it with me assuming that ink should be available worldwide.
visiting epson dealer there, I found out that they are not providing these ink number and Epson is having different ink codes for each region!!!!!!!!
I tried to maneuver around by searching over the net for a similar printer is using 126 or 127 and could be in europe, I found that WF-630 is one of them in Germany and it uses T129 ink.
I purchased it from the dealer here, but printer didn't recognize the cartridge and still asking to have 126 or 127..
is there any solution for that..??
any compatible epson ink or a way to reset the chip (Hopefully a software one) and refill the original cartridge or to identify it to the similar epson cartridge like T129????

1. There is no compatible cartridges. You need to use 126 /127.
2. There is no software that can reset chips. (There is electronic device that can reset it: http://www.inksupply.com/product-details.cfm?pn=SK125)
3. After reset, use good quality ink to refill. In all Epson printers, printhead is using piezoelectic technology - using poor/bad quality ink can damage your printhead or in best scenario dry. Cleaning dried printhead is expansive and sometimes can lead to damage it.
