Which GTX 980 should i buy from these ?

Solution
No, 970 has less CUDA cores than 980, and it can never directly compete with the latter in terms of power. EVGA's ACX 750 has 1.23GHz base clock and 1.32Ghz boost clock, does that make it better than 970/980? Nope :)

I'll go for the Gigabyte edition then. Why is there BASE: 1127 MHz / BOOST: 1216 MHz ??

Does this mean its super overclocked ?

Base clock is the standard speed at which GPU will run on loads. Boost clock is like Turbo Boost for GPUs, which, provided there's thermal room, will enhance the Base clock to the specified Boost clock automatically to give better performance.
The higher the base clock, the higher will be boost clock and accordingly the performance.

So does it automatically go to the boost clock when gaming? I was going to oc it a bit anyway.

Also why is the base/boost clock of this 970 higher than that of the 980 ? Does it mean this 970 is better ?

No it wouldn't automatically boost your clock
boost clock is the max frequency of the GPU
GTX 970 has three fans and is the OC edition and gtx 980 is the normal one

Okay then. I'll probably go for the gigabyte 980. I was worried a littler bit for going with the evga 980 sc edition , maybe it will give me better frames than the normal gigabyte 980 because of the super clock edition.

Sadly, EVGA ACX 1.0 is not optimal for 900 series, their ACX 2.0 will be better but has not yet released, go with GB over ACX 1.0.

Fine. I play on a 1080p resolution so this 980 is going to be an overkill. I can maybe buy another card in the future (980 as well) and SLI it with my current one for even better performance.
