Buy a new board with new cpu because core 2 quad are expensive for their performance now with no good internal graphic

Hey guys - appreciate all the feedback - someone asked what CPU I have in it currently - to be honest I don't know - but I found some other threads out there along the same line of questioning and it sounds like the upgrade limitations are FSB of CPU =1033 MHz max and architecture no smaller than 65nm - so as far as I can tell, that leaves the QX6800 as the most powerful cpu available and supposedly others have made this upgrade and it works fine. I know people may be BS'ing but I can pick up that CPU for <$50 so the downside if it doesn't work is no big deal imo...I will repost results when I get it installed

I really wouldn't spend $50 on that. If I were you, I would just save up to get a decent build. Even a brand new $400, while not the best, would be worlds above whatever you have now
