Should I get this: GTX 780

Or this: GTX 970

I understand the 970 performs slightly better but I want to hear it from the professionals.

I am mainly asking incase the 970 or 780 will overclock better or the 970 will improve with driver updates, just all things considered! Thanks!

More about : 780 970

The 970 generally performs slightly better yeah. Also, it's a newer design and has fancier techmologies for gaming. And yeah, there will surely be more focus on the 970 and 980 with future driver updates.
It also runs using less power, and as a result the cards run a bit cooler and quieter. OC potential is pretty decent with the 970s. Best 970s right now are the Asus Strix, MSI gaming, and Gigabyte G1 Gaming.

I don't want to go much higher price than the 780 so I can't get really upgrade to an msi, it's just that evga option. I would LOVE an MSI option but I cannot afford it unless someone can help me cut down on my psu?

The MSI one is very aesthetically pleasing but the Gigabyte looks better for overclocking and has so many display outputs (maybe too many?)

Can someone help me :'(

Maybe get a FX-6300 instead of the 8320.
Also, I usually wouldnt't advice 4gb of ram though, 8gb will make a big difference if you game a lot or use different programs at the same time

That wont work, unless they are the exact same model

You should get 8GB of RAM.

As I am saying for the third time, I already have 4GB of RAM in my current system.

Maybe yes that could be correct but 80% of the time companies will not make there ram modules compatible with others. You are better off getting another 8 Gb set and installing them fresh this will reduce the risk of complications later on download the line.

Haha carter, yeah i know i was just messing with you now cos everyone kept saying the same (but yeah initially i read it too fast, thought u said you got the 4gb from the list). :p
But as said, make sure you buy the exact same 4GB card that you already have (same brand, same type). If you can't find it then don't just buy a random 4GB card, it will cause complications and you don't wanna risk problems on something as important as RAM.

Nah I want a CPU Cooler asap because I play games like Battlefield and DayZ and Arma so I need as much CPU Power as possible.

Well get a fx-6300, or even a fx-4300. You'll get a couple less fps in game, but if you're on a 1080p monitor it's no biggie as with the gtx 970 you'll max out any game anyway with 60+fps. I can't give advice on AMD motherboards as i don't know much about them. Maybe get a PSU with 550W, like a corsair CS550M, or even a CX500. You'll need at least 500W though.

Oh and getting a Hyper TX3 Evo will save you a couple bucks too, instead of the 212. It's still a great cooler, and silent as well.

OH THE EVO! Whoops now I misread.

Can anyone save me like £10-£20 on my motherboard then? : http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/HWFRnQ
