Hi guys so today I successfully overclocked my intel core 2 duo e4500 with 11xmultiplier nd my clock speed was 2.92 ghz. when I overclocked it further, I decreased the multiplier to 9X so that I could get to 3.5 ghz in bios it was successful but after logging in windows I stress test the cpu but cpu-z was saying my core speed was 2842.41MHz with 9x multiplier and Bus Speed 315 but the bus speed was higher in the bios. Can you guys help me to get I to work to 3.5GHz.

thanks

There is no point in overclocking that processor as you won't see a difference at all. Back when this was released overclocking was barely used so this processor never used it therefore that is why you can't overclock to 3.5GHZ. Be sure to select best answer.
