I have a Z87 extreme 4 and I'm trying to setup a RAID configuration and the instructions (found here http://download.asrock.com/manual/raid/Z87%20Extreme4/E...) and I need to go to advanced and into Intel Rapid Storage Technology to create a RAID volume, but in the advanced tab there is no Intel Rapid Storage Technology option. Is there something wrong with my UEFI?

Just set controller type to RAID, save and exit. Then watch for RAID controller screen and press Ctrl + I to access. That is where you create your RAID volumes. Also, do not use the crappy ASMedia SATA ports, I'd suggest disabling that controller completely unless you absolutely need them.

SATA ports labelled A0 and A1 are controlled by the ASMedia controller, be sure you ARE NOT using those. They're junk, disable them in the SATA configuration page in your BIOS.

I didn't use those ports. Thanks!

You're welcome UncleSam89, I hope you've got your RAID working as expected now.
