Define "Improve your GPU usage"?
Your GPU will be doing as much work as is requested of it that it can handle. If you are gaming and have Vsync on it will only aim for 60 but otherwise it will be trying to create a frame for everything that the CPU sends it. If you have lower graphics settings or a weaker CPU then it won't have to work as hard to keep up so you will see the GPU usage % go down.
