My pc boots for about 5 seconds then the there is i can hear the fans increasing speed and then it shuts down completely. The inital boot is really quiet but after a few seconds the noise increases as the fans spin up and then it all shuts down.

Specs:
CPU:AMD FX-6300 black edition
M/B:Gigabyte 990fxa UD3
RAM: 8gb (2x 4gb) Corsair Vengence
PSU: Corsair TX650
GPU: 2x SLI Evga GTX 660 2gb Superclocked

It sounds like you have a heat related issue in the computer. Can you see the temps in your BIOS?

Remove the cover and check to see if all the fans spinning - you may have an issues with one or more of the fans. If all the fans are spinning properly - when was the last time the thermal paste was applied? You may need to clean the thermal paste off and apply new thermal paste.

All fans are spinning properly and have been cleaned about 2 days ago. Thermal paste was applied to cpu and both gpus when i cleaned my pc. My temps are around 36C which is normal for me on a hot day.

Same result. I noticed that my fans start of at moderate speed and 1 gpu fan wasn't spinning. After a few seconds all fans spin up as if the system is under load and shuts off completely.
