Afternoon Tom's community & aliens alike,

Recently I have decided to build my own PC and have picked out some desired parts in accordance to my budget.

The only thing I haven't chosen is a MOBO, I am not sure of which MOBO to choose. Keep in mind this is my first PC that I will be building, any advice and active criticism is welcome.

Thank you.

The parts I have chosen are as follows:

CPU - i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
GPU - MSI Radeon R9 270X 2GB TWIN FROZR
Case - Zalman Z3 Plus White ATX Mid Tower
PSU - EVGA 500W ATX12V / EPS12V
Optical drive - Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer

As well as recommending a good compatible and budget MOBO, could you also recommend a good budget PSU also. I distinctly remember reading on some webpage that PSU is not of the better tier.

Looking forward to your comments.

From my budget, I have roughly £80 left, as I have the monitor, keyboard and other peripherals chosen.
And yes, I most definitely will be upgrading in the future.
I plan to OC in the future, but not just yet. Same applies to crossfire. I prefer 2 memory slots at the minimum.

Though I mentioned £80, I am willing to go up to £110. Thanks

The PSU is not of immediate concern to me, unless you guys discern that it may be harmful to my system, then you can suggest a better PSU as it is a "low tier" PSU.
