Same story in bios

CPUZ however recognizes all 6 sticks, a preliminary google search shows that this may be a timings issue, however i have no idea what to set the timings to, currently running at

Long story short, windows is only seeing/using 1/3 of my actual ram, i have tried re seating the ram, clearing CMOS, no luck, and suggestions would be appreciated, thank you

The link shows a 64 bit os.

What does the windows task manager performance tab show?

Your experience index needs to be refreshed, perhaps that might fix a reporting problem.

Run memtest86+. You should get NO failures.
If you do, test each stick individually.

going to have to buy a thumb drive to use for memtest, will post back with results when i have done so, windows memory test showed no errors, but doubt it even looked at all 6 sticks, probably just the 2 that are shwoing up.

Did some ram stick swapping, and i can get it to post with all sticks of ram individually, as well as the first pairing <for a total of the 4 i was seeing> however when i start to add another pair, i fail to post 3-4 times before it actually works, and it remains at the 4gb mark, at this point im wondering since the memory is technically controlled by the processor, is this a sign of it finally starting to go?

also, it appears the motherboard can see all the sticks of ram in cpuz, im assuming its probably not just a bad motherboard slot, going to try and reformat hard drive and re install windows, its overdue anyway, even though probably not going to help, it cant hurt im sure
