ASUS Z97 Ranger VS MSI GAMING 5

Hey Guys i'm now deciding between two motherboards the ASUS Z97 Maximus Ranger 7 or the MSI Gaming 5 , in my country they almost cost the same so i'm wondering which one is better and i surely need the best sound card to use it for music production software like FL and Ableton.

One more question , how about lighting i saw this in google image and it looks amn hot but i think its the Hero is the Ranger looks the same ?

I would recommend you Asus Hero VII otherwise grab Gigabyte Gaming series 5 motherboard.

Lighting is a gimmick. Better grab mobo with performance packed in it to deliver the most. Get Hero VII.

depends on the pricing, performance wise the ROG don't deliver what their worth. With "performance", motherboards don't really play much a role at all.

Ranger does not have lighting like Hero does. Read this review for confirmation:

it's good but i have already said, ROG is overpriced for what you get. It's all bling but if you like it for the looks then get one.

The extra $30 isn't for those lights, it's more then that.

Yeah i know Hero will be better i think but The more value goes to Ranger its cheaper.I'll check the prices here in my country Thanks for the quick answers guys
