I would not even bother trying to play Battlefield 4 with an A8 APU. You need at least the most powerful A10 (7850k I believe) to play Battlefield 4 on low settings with a playable frame rate.

Scratch a A8 my friend. You can grab a AMD FX 6300 and a board at nearly the same competitive price. Or even go with a Pentium G3258 and oc it a bit

No... Do not do an APU. You're better off with the Athlon X4 860K with a R7 260X. For about the same price as the 7850K, You can run Battlefield 4 at 1080p no problem with the Athlon X4 860K and R7 260X. Pay a little more for the R9 270X, and you can Run BF4 on High/Ultra at 1080p.
At low 720p between 30-40 with occasion dips to high 20s, I often wonder have the people commenting on apus on here ever actually lived with one? The a8 7600 is 90% of the a10 7850k and matches near enough the a10 6800k, it was the same previous gens as the extra shaders were held back by ddr3 anyway. If your on a strict budget and low res the a8 + dual channel 1866 ram is a great start to pc gaming.
