My room has access to a university network via one ethernet port. That port is currently connected to my router, which gives me wireless access for my laptop and phone. My xbox, however, cannot deal with the double NAT, so I am trying to connect my xbox directly to the ethernet port. Since there is only one ethernet port, I was thinking of getting a network switch like this one. I would then connect form the room's ethernet port to the switch via ethernet cable. Then another ethernet cable from switch to router (for wireless signal). Then another ethernet cable from switch to xbox (for online connectivity without double NAT). Are there any problems with this setup?
