Hi, im pretty sad.

My new build that I just got put together yesterday. Hardware that I got in it:
ASUS MAXIMUS VII IMPACT Z97 LGA 1150 MiniITX, i7-4790K H100i, Corsair HX 1050W
Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB), ATI 7970, Samsung 840 EVO 250GB.

Im re'using the PSU and GPU from my previous build. Which worked fine in that build.

The first time booting it up, it clicks, all fans start for 1 sec then reboots and repeat like in this video . http://youtu.be/8bL0YitPvOs

I tried wiggle the gpu and put it out and back in. After that I got it started, installed all needed programs and Windows 8. The next day I moved it up to a friend for a mini LAN. It started doing it again but I got it running and could play all day and night with highend games.
To note it shutdown auto when I plugged in my usb headset, did it again out of nothing when I played 7 days to die. No BSOD or anything.
I did the stress test that comes along with ASUS, the CPU runs at 30'ish celcius when idle and is not OC'ed.

Now here sunday night it does it again. I might be thinking it could be the GPU but then again its been working fine ever since I bought it,.

Regards, Mark

What kind of an PSU do you use? To me it looks like a PSU problem, but I could be utterly wrong here. Wiggeling the GPU to get it started seems pretty hillbilly to me and is another consern and could point in that direction...
(btw I have allmost that exact setup - sweet build ;) )

I know it not the smartest to do, but as it seemed to help when it happened the first time. Like holding it towards the one side seemed to fix it, then after letting go of it again it would shut down.
Its a Corsair HX1050W PSU.

Yeah it's a nice build, if i know that it would function like it should.

Ah. I see I overlooked that you mentioned the PSU in your first post. It should be more than sufficiant for the build unless its broken. Do you have another one that you could test with? In the video - are you pressing the startbutton several times or is the click sound just the MB rebooting? At first time boot it is supposed to reboot a couple of times. But my MB (witch is the same one) has a longer timespan between bootup and reboot...

Have you tried to stresstest it without the gfx card in it?

I removed the gpu. Started it up, it stopped doing the reboot. but no picture on screen via the hdmi.
I gently pushed on one of the RAM block then it auto shutdown :(.
After that the FLBK led started to blinking red. and yeah it cant start now.

the gpu gold pins have some grease on it, might be something with it. but now there is more problems :/
