I got a fingerprint on my CPU and will clean it with isopropyl alcohol and a coffee filter.

What % alcohol should I get?

How long do I have to wait after cleaning it to apply the thermal paste and CPU cooler?

Hi clean it with regular isopropyl alchohol you get at the grocery/drug store and coffee filter - just scrub it for a second and then dry it with dry part of coffee filter. Once you see it's dry to the naked eye, apply a pea sized spot of thermal paste to the center of your CPU and apply your heatsink.
