Hi all!

I have this problem that started this morning.
My CPU is overheating no idea why, it's a Intel Core i7 2600k 3.5Ghz.
I had this problem previous summer so i changed my CPU fan to a liquid cooling system (Hydro Series™ H100i Extreme Performance) it's about 6-8 months old, working perfectly, but sinds this morning my CPU is acting weird.
I don't smoke and i keep my pc very clean, the case airflow is also very good, a total of 7 fans and 1 (Hydro Series™ H100i).
I am starting to believe it's a BIO's bug/glitch, so i did update my BIO's to the newest one on their website, still having this same problem, any ideas ?

P.S: My motherboard is a P8P67 Pro Rev 3.1

It's going on 59C idle to high i believe.
I am not a PC expert so it took me a while to find out the Vcore etc...
But i believe i got it.

CPU Voltage 1.146V (Offset Mode)
Offset Mode Sign (+)
CPU Offset Voltage (Auto)
DRAM Voltage (Auto)
VCCSA Voltage (Auto)
VCCIO Voltage (Auto)
CPU PLL Voltage (Auto)
PCH Voltage (Auto)

that's what i found out in the BIO's it self

I think i've found it, i've changed CPU Voltage 1.146V (Offset Mode) to CPU Voltage 1.146V (Manual)
And i've set the volts to 1.45V and it seems to idle at around 41 - 45C now.
I can't say it for a 100% but can someone tell me if i did fix it or not ?

Kind Regards

It very well could be. OFFSET + means that you add VOLT to your base VOLT (so 1.2 + 1.146= 2.346) so that is alot:). On manual you are running just the number you type in. Run a program called REALTEMP for tempature measurement and CPUID for info around CPU and RAM. These to programs are free and easy to use tools

Any idea what i have to do ? it's on a idle of 41C at this very moment, nothing is running besides my Google Chrome and my Crosair Link.
I don't understand how my CPU can overheat with liquid cooling, something went wrong, and i don't know if it's within the BIOs or not, but we got corrupted PC repair shops here, they will instantly tell u (your CPU broke ill order you a new one) and they can abuse that knowledge, because i have no idea how the inside of the PC works nor the BIOs.

Did you recently turn on hyperthreading? Also, do a manual inspection of your h100 fans while pc is on, if one is not spinning you'll get raised temps.

Since you don't have any OC to speak of, you could also set core voltage back on auto, and change the offset to "-".
