note book specs
Asus Model S500CA ,I 5 3317U processor, HM76 chip set, windows 8.1 64 bit. Which MB do I have. How much memory is supported. Asus says 4 GB soldered in, 4 available in slot, total 8gb, ddr3 pc3 12800 1600 MGHZ. Crucial says max is 12MGHz( chat and scan).

Are you asking how much ram you have or is supported?


Asus says that board only has 1 ram slot capable of 4GB Memory, speed shouldn't really be of concern.

You have - Either 1 x 2/4GB

Supported - 4GB Max, one slot with maximum capability of 4GB.
