I'd recommend a discrete graphics card, maybe an AMD R7 250x. That should do just fine for the games you mentioned, plus some. 8gb of ram, and whatever size hard drive you think you'll need (I'd just go with a TB.) Quad-core processor, maybe an AMD Athlon X4 750K. Obviously, the case and other peripherals are up to you.You can get an optical drive for about $20, the CPU I mentioned is $80 on Newegg, and the GPU (depending on how many gb and manufacturer) can range from $90 to $130. RAM may cost you another $80, and your HDD about $60. Depending on your motherboard (I'll leave that up to you, let me know if you want suggestions.), maybe another $60. 500w power supply may be around $50. That totals around $450-480, and of course your case.

(If you want, I could make you a wishlist and link it.)

He's playing MMORPGs. He's going to need an Intel processor because MMOs don't utilize a lot of cores and Intel cores are stronger in that case
