Hey guys, I am planning on upgrading my pc after almost 3 years!
I want to buy the following part, but I am kind of paranoid that it will not be compatible, so I came to the experts haha.

Here it is:
MOBO: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/G41M-S3/
GPU I AM BUYING: http://www.e-shop.gr/asus-gt610-sl-2gd3-l-2gb-ddr3-pci-...
(The website for the GPU is on a different language, I'm sorry :ange: )

Also, this is my current GPU, is the GPU I am buying and upgrade?: http://gpuboss.com/graphics-card/GeForce-GT-430

More about : gpu compatible mobo

Well, its not much of an upgrade. You won't notice too much difference (if any), infact it might even be a downgrade according to http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GT-640-vs-GeForce-GT-61....

But yes, it is perfectly compatible with your motherboard. Depending on your budget, I suggest either a GT 630 (cheaper option) or a GTX 750 (expensive option). If you get the GTX 750 which doesn't need an additional PCIe power connector, then you are guaranteed compatible with that too.

Thanks a lot for the fast reply. Is there any GPU that is guaranteed to be an upgrade to my current one?
I guess the GTX 750 is an upgrade, but are there any GPUs that area little cheaper and also upgrade my current GPU.

As long as it is compatible, then sure! What are my choices for AMD cards that are an upgrade to my current GPU? :)

Hey thanks for all the help! I greatly appreciate it!
I am from Greece and it is kinda hard to find what you need here, especially online, but I managed to found this: http://www.e-shop.gr/xfx-amd-radeon-r7-250-r7-250a-clf4...
Is this the right one? There seems to be a lot of different versions supporting different DDR.

Try to find one with GDDR instead of DDR.
