Hi i recently built my first gaming pc which has turned out really well and i am loving. My mum however is in desperate need of a computer and obviously im not going to be handing over a dedicated gaming pc to her as she will only be using it for emails etc.

I was wandering what is important in a workstation computer? She will be using it for emails, internet browsing and storing lots and lots of photos on and so i assume i just build an average computer with very large storage. I also want the components to last a long time - at least 4 years. Any reccomendations on a build would be very appreciated....

Thanks in advance

What is your budget for this? Often, at the low end, buying a prebuilt is as good or better than building one.

Warranty, includes OS, etc, etc.
