Well ive decided that getting another R9 290 wasnt really the right option as it involved too much, as i would of needed a new psu, a new monitor, and i wanted a new motherboard as i want to overclock my cpu..
So ive now decided that it would just be easier to redo the majority of the system, and to do that im using the money i can gather before christmas (probably around £170-180) and then around £400 i get for christmas, so what im looking for is upgrade ideas in the £600 price range, what i want to include in the upgrade, is possibly a new cpu, motherboard, cpu cooler, case and better/SILENT case fans
My current specs are as follows:
AMD 8320
Corsair H100
ASRock extreme3 990fx mobo (wont allow me to overclock as vrms overheat, 100% needs replacing)
Corsair Venegance 8gb 1600mhz Ram
Sapphire reference r9 290
Corsair CX750M
Xigmatek Alfar Case

Just drop me some ideas, if you want, inbox me if you find it easier

Thanks

I suggest you wait until you have all your money in hand. For about UKP 1,000 you should be able to assemble a really nice Intel i5- based CPU and maybe even with a Broadwell CPU that may be announced end October timeframe.
