I bought a new Dell Inspiron computer with Windows 8.1 on its hard drive. Now I have added an SSD and installed Windows 7 Professional on that drive. What can I do to configure the system such that it gives me option at boot time to boot from either drive/OS?
Thank you.

Go into your bios, and there will be a boot priority settings. (Should be in a tab called "boot") Depending on which one you want to boot every time you would select your ssd. (I would assume your ssd) After that, hit save, and boot up and it should boot from the ssd :)

My apologies if my question wasn't clear. I am aware of modifying BIOS to boot from a certain device. I'm looking for a setup where I get something like Windows Advanced Boot Options and choose either Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 to boot, just like I have with BootCamp on my Macbook.
