I was planning to have a build with a Intel Xeon E3 1230 C3 with a Asus Maximus VI Gene. I was wondering because on some websites it says it only supports i3, i5, i7 etc. Thanks.


(Also, would a 212 Plus fit on there, with A-Data 1866mhz RAM)

How about a Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150? I was trying to access but it keeps crashing on my PC.

It stops loading and says Firefox/Chrome has stopped working.

If you're having problems after the cpu change try with a fresh windows install. You should not be having any problems with a cpu swap, but sometimes its easier to reinstall windows than finding the problem.
