1. Okay so I built my computer yesterday and I attached windows 7 to it, now it wants me to install the system on my computer. So the computer guy that helped me put it together said for me to wait for it to install by itself overnight. But I wanted to get it over with so I just hit install now. So after awhile I had to restart my computer and it did that a couple of times and THEN it said I needed to install 7 important updates and I did now its asking for 2 important updates. I don't know how many updates it takes but I need some help on that.

2. I have a GeForce GTX 780 on my build and I had to install/update the drivers, after that it kept asking me to install the 900 series of GeForce so after it kept on popping up I installed it, can someone please explain if that is fine or I need to do something about that.

Hope someone can help me figure out these problems!

You will get failed updates sometimes for a lot of different reasons....just make sure they all install eventually. You can always manually launch Windows update and "scan for new updates" to see if any still need to be installed.

You should have the proper drivers for your GPU - the link I gave you will allow that to happen. Older drivers supplied with the GPU on CD-ROM are often outdated and may have misidentified your GPU.

Okay one more thing about windows 7. When I left it overnight it said failed to update then it said it didn't update 7 important updates, is that normal?

Also for the GPU Drivers, my question was that I was wondering if I installed the 900 series drivers would that affect my computer? I don't think it will but you're the expert..
