Yes the title says it all, is Black Friday a good day to pick up some PC parts? because I'm planning a PC build now and would it be worth the wait to go for those days? i'm in no rush so would i benefit from shopping on those days? thank you.

Some components go on sale, for a few hours until they get sold out.

I would NOT recommend it. The sales are fairly lack luster, and dont last long. You lose out on certain components by waiting. If you have a build in mind, do it now.

Will the parts that you want be on sale?

Black Friday/Cyber Monday is merely a marketing term for "Some things will go on sale between mid October and mid January. Be good little sheeple and join into the feeding frenzy."

Unless you are prepared to purchase components over the next 90 days (they will not be at the best price at the same time), and pay separate shipping charges, and wait until the last package arrives....you won't find a "great deal" on parts....

Most of the "big time" sales are going to be on items that are not high in demand or they are not top of the line products. You will find that $1000 TV for $99 - but the brand name will be something you haven't heard of....You won't find a current processor, GPU, Mobo, RAM, HDD, etc., for more than 10%-15% off on any of the sites.
